We partner with Hearts and Hooves Corral in Soddy Daisy, and Camp Lookout on Lookout Mountain, GA, to provide equine therapy sessions to those overlooked and suffering from the effects of trauma.
As our program works with horses to eliminate barriers toward healing, we never want the cost for our services to create a new barrier. Your giving supports us in giving everyone the story they deserve, regardless of financial status.

How Sponsorship Works
Vulnerable individuals are referred by other organizations or reach out personally. Each participant is matched with a sponsor. Your giving ensures access to the equine therapy sessions needed to provide help and healing to the client in need. As we build trust and value the privacy of those seeking help we are unable to provide identifying information, however, your sponsorship will allow you to write letters of encouragement that will be distributed appropriately to individuals within our program. Sponsoring a participant [$750] is only one way to support our The Shalom Story. We welcome any and all donations.

All donations are through The Shalom Story, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. We are a licensed non-profit corporation in the state of Tennessee that promotes the healing of the whole person. The equine therapeutic services program provides emotional, cognitive, social, and physical benefits for people of different abilities.
